Love what you do and you will never work a day in your life. Michael Alfuso is one of the rare people in this world who embodies this classic maxim. A 25 year old cinematographer from Tustin, he has harnessed his love of skateboarding, video and action sports to create some of the best downhill skating footage ever seen.

Michael got his start in film by hijacking his parent’s camera as young kid. At age 13 he was documenting family road trips and shooting skate videos using a Hi8 camera. In high school he watched “Roam,” a mountain bike video, that cemented his dream to become a cinematographer. He went on to graduate from Cal State University Northridge with a BA in Film and Television Arts with an emphasis in cinematography.

Enjoy a few of his shots with us and check out more of his work
